If you have a work permit based on Political Asylum status through ABC (American Bautista Church) or TPS (Temporary Permit to Stay), you must apply for renewal of the work permit at least ONE MONTH before the expiration date. Also, within the community there is a misunderstanding that persons living in the U.S. for 7 years are eligible to apply for a work permit. This is not true.
