Fair Housing Guardian Newsletter
Keep you informed of current activities and
information related to fair housing matters in Santa Clara County.
Conflicts Program
(Website Under Development)
Funded by the County to take conflict cases referred by courts in criminal matters. We
do representation of indigent criminal defendants who are not represented by either the
Public Defender Office or Alternate Public Defender Office.
Services will be provided by private attorneys serving on case panels or providing
services through contracts.
Special Education Project
CASE (Community Alliance for Special Education) of Santa Clara County was recently
created to provide services to families of children with learning disabilities. The
project was opened to the public starting on February 1st, 1996.

Immigration Project
Consultation and document preparation in cases including family reunification,
adjustment of status, political asylum, work permit, and citizenship.
Call (408) 283-1535, ext. 231 for further information. Fee for consultation is $10
dollards. Additional costs for document preparation or translation of documents are on a
sliding scale.
