Since 1960, Legal Aid Society has provided free legal assistance, outreach, and education to the low income residents of Santa Clara County. We are the oldest and largest legal service office in the county. We have served over half a million people since our doors opened.

Our goals are: "Equal Access to Justice," family self-sufficiency, quality education, and immigrant rights.

We now do representation of moderate income clients and will provide certain services for a low fee. Our services include community outreach, education, and direct assistance in cases involving landlord and tenants, housing discrimination, special education, quality education, immigration, domestic violence, and indigent criminal defense.

Our representation ensures that our clients have equal access to the justice system. Our outreach and education programs provide the community members with needed tools to advocate for themselves and to lead more independent and knowledgable lives.

After 38 years of legal assistance to the community, we're still going strong. Give us a call for assistance, (408) 998-5200. Bilingual staff are available to speak Spanish.
